In these terms and conditions the following expressions shall be given the following meanings:
Party – the period during which a Therapist/s shall provide treatment/s to the Host and Guest/s (may also be referred to as Party/Pamper Party)
Party Host – any professional practitioner who is supplied by Cosmixology with a view to carrying out workshops/treatment/s for or on behalf of Cosmixology.
Client– any person, firm, company or organisation placing an order with Cosmixology Parties (the client)
Venue – place provided by the Host for the Party to take place (home, hotel, hall)
Guest/s – attendees of the party receiving treatment/s including the Host. This may include employees of the Host if the Host is a company or organisation
Treatment/s – care given by the Pamper Party Hosts by procedures or applications that are intended to relieve stress or to enhance well-being or for enjoyment/relaxation purposes
This information is provided as a guide only and can be seen in each individual party package description. Each Party host provided by Cosmixology may work slightly differently from another. If the Client/s has something more specific in mind then this should be mentioned at the point of enquiry (failing that when booking) We cannot guarantee the fulfilment of any requests not stated at the point of enquiry.
Cosmixology may update these terms from time-to-time by posting a new version on Cosmixology’s website. You should check this page occasionally to ensure you are happy with any changes.
Cosmixology Parties recommend that all Bookings are made a minimum of 4 to 6 weeks in advance where possible. A Party at short notice will be considered, however, Cosmixology reserves the right to levy an administration fee of 15% of the total cost of the Booking any Party arranged at short notice (2 weeks or less).
The Client will pay a £50.00 Non-Refundable Deposit upon Booking a Party, including a party at short notice. This Deposit is not transferable or refundable. No Party Host will be contacted or booked without a Deposit.
The Client is responsible for providing an accurate address and relevant contact details for the Party. Cosmixology will have no liability for any loss of treatment time due to inaccurate address information. The Client shall also provide two contact numbers at the point of Booking (one of which must be a land line).
The Client will allow a minimum of 2 hours for a Party – a Party with more than a 2 hour window for a workshop or Treatment/s must be agreed with a Cosmixology Representative before Booking and will result in additional charges (as a general guide this would be approximately £15.00 per half hour to 3 hours, per Therapist).
The Client should state if they, or any Party Guest/s, has any medical conditions and/or if they are pregnant before making a Booking (or as soon as this information becomes available if a Booking has already been placed). The Host acknowledges that not all Treatment/s will be suitable for Guest/s who are pregnant.
All fees for services arranged are to be pre-paid – unless alternative arrangements have been made with a representative of Cosmixology. The full balance will be due at least 7 days prior to the party. Once a Party Host has been confirmed, and the Final Balance requested, then the Client will be bound by this price even if a Party Guest/s does not have their Treatment/s/ or attend.
Changes to the Booking
Changes made to the Party Schedule, Treatment/s and/or Address with less than 48 hours notice may result in the termination of the party with no refund. Cosmixology will try to accommodate changes with less than 48 hours notice, however, the Client may incur a fee of 15% of the balance payment for Party Schedule, Treatment/s and Address changes and this will increase to 20% of the balance payment for address changes more than 5 miles from the original party location.
Changes made to the Party Schedule, Treatment/s or Address with less than 7 days notice will incur an Administration Fee of £10.00. Non direct access to a property for example in a flat/stairs will incur a £25 fee.
Changes made to the Party Schedule by Cosmixology for whatever reason will not incur additional charges.
If the Client cancels the Party with at least 21 days notice, a full refund minus the deposit will be issued. If the Client cancels with at least 14 days notice, they will be entitled to a 50% refund of monies paid, excluding the Deposit. If less than 7 days notice is received, no refund can be issued. The Party cannot be transferred to an alternative date unless agreed by a Cosmixology Representative.
If the Party is cancelled by Cosmixology a full refund, including the Deposit, will be provided.
The Client will ensure that adequate space is provided, as advised by Cosmixology or the Party Hosts in order for the Pamper Party Hosts to perform their Treatment/s or carry out their workshop. A couch is often used for Treatment/s and is usually 6 foot long so please ensure there is adequate room for the Pamper Party Hosts to walk around the bed.
The Client may be asked to provide standard tables and chairs and water refreshments.
The Client is responsible for protecting their belongings and to cover any carpets, tables, etc appropriately.
The Client will cover the cost of parking/if any – as agreed prior to the party.
Party Hosts require a smoke free environment.
The Client will ensure that the Party Hosts are warmly welcomed upon their arrival. (heavy equipment, etc). Assist with stairs.
Cosmixology will not be liable for ambience of Party due to unsuitable choice of location/room chosen by Client..
The Client will ensure that all Guest/s have signed appropriate consent documentation prior to receiving Treatment/s. Cosmixology or the Party Hosts are not responsible for any allergic reactions if consent has been given for Treatment/s or allergies were not declared.
Cosmixology are aware that parties are social events, however, if the Party Hosts feel too much alcohol has been consumed in adult parties before a Treatment/s or workshop they are well within their rights not to offer that Treatment/s to the Guest/s concerned. The Client will take all reasonable endeavours to ensure that Guest/s limit the intake of alcoholic beverages prior to receiving Treatment/s. The legal limit for driving is a suitable guideline. Party Hosts may refuse Treatment/s to the Client or Guest/s deemed to be behaving inappropriately or under the influence of drugs or alcohol, with no refund. It is dangerous to carry out Treatment/s on a person who is intoxicated.
The Client will ensure that pets and small children will be kept away from all products and equipment to prevent accident or injury.
The Client will ensure that Guest/s arrive in time for their pre-scheduled Treatment/s. The Party Hosts will make every effort to accommodate any changes due to lateness but in such an event Cosmixology will have no liability for any loss of Workshop or Treatment/s time.
The Party Hosts have the right to charge for any delays caused by the Client or Guest/s, resulting in a delay of more than 30 minutes from the agreed Party Schedule. The amount of £15.00 for every 30 minute delay, should be paid by cash or cheque directly to the Party Hosts providing Treatment/s.
Cosmixology or Party Hosts shall not be liable to the Client or Guest/s for any loss, injury, damage, expense or delay suffered by the Host or the Guest/s. This exclusion shall extend (but not be limited) to the consequences of any act or omission (whether wilful, negligent, reckless, dishonest or otherwise) which takes place during the Party on the part of the Party Host or the Client or the Guest/s. The Client acknowledges that Cosmixology charges are set on the basis that it has no such liability.
Upon booking a party with Cosmixology it is your responsibility (the Client) to make all Guest/s aware of the party you have booked and what treatments or workshops will be involved
Upon booking/attending a party by Cosmixology you acknowledge and accept all of the above.
