Cosmixology was born at the intersection of motherhood, beauty, heritage, and healing.
For over three decades, beauty has been my language. Formally trained as a beauty and massage therapist, immersed in aromatherapy, botanical blending and skin formulations, and later as a travelling makeup artist, I lived and breathed the industry. Beauty was my world—until life gently, and then very firmly, asked me to slow down.
From the moment my daughter was born, I chose clean. Plant-based oils instead of petroleum creams. Gentle botanicals instead of synthetic fragrance. Bath time became a ritual of care, not chemicals. That instinct rooted in love and protection quietly planted the seed for what Cosmixology would one day become.
Then came my cancer diagnosis.
In an instant, everything shifted. I stripped everything back. Every product. Every ingredient. Every formula that touched my skin or entered my home was scrutinised. I went completely clean—not as a trend, but as survival. And when my recovery meant I could no longer return to my former fast-paced beauty career, I knew one thing for certain: I still needed to be connected to beauty, but it had to be honest, slow, and truly natural.
So Cosmixology began…
On my kitchen table. With a handful of raw ingredients I trusted. And the formulations I had studied for years, but now tested on my own skin, and for my own child.
Night after night, I blended and often I failed. I learned. I refined. Oils macerated in sunlight. Butters whipped by hand. Aromatics chosen not just for scent, but for how they made you feel. Each product became a quiet promise, nothing unnecessary, nothing harmful, only what truly belonged.
Threaded through those formulas is my heritage. The beauty rituals my mother passed down. Oils warmed between the palms. Herbal infusions made without measuring spoons. The knowing that skincare is not vanity, it is care, ceremony, protection. That blend of clinical beauty training and ancestral wisdom is the soul of Cosmixology.
Today, Cosmixology is a sanctuary for modern families seeking gentler ways to care for growing skin. We specialise in slow, natural skincare for children, bath-time rituals, mindful beauty experiences, and creative “make your own” kits that teach little hands where beauty truly comes from.
And now, as we step fully into 2026, we are entering our most intentional chapter yet.
This is the year we fully embrace our natural identity.
This is the year we grow up. Beautifully, slowly, and consciously.
